Well, we've talked about the game, showed some pictures, and we've all had some good laughs. But now to prove we're not just kicking around in Photoshop, we'll be posting some video taken from REAL game-play within the next day.
So keep an eye on Facebook, Twitter, and (of course) here at the home page to find out when the video has been posted! Oddly enough, the hard part with the ropes wasn't getting the character to physically move up and down on them, but in making the correct animation play. As you can see in the video below, sometimes walking is the best way to climb a rope! We apologize in advanced for the video quality, our software gave us more than a bit of trouble >:-[ We've got new screen shots up for Marshmallow Duel! Check them out in the Games section!
Well, the site is up, we have some content, so we're launching! We've removed the "Under Construction" banner from the home page and have some plans for more content in the works.
Please take a look around and let us know if there's anything you want to see added via the contact page or the button below. ![]() Instead of trying to animate the marshmallow at the bottom of the screen, I thought it would be easier to simply make a graphic that is larger then the screen and move it from right to left across the bottom. The effect was great... until the graphic moved so far to the left that the end of it was visible on screen. |
